THE FOUNDATION OF CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE

Psalms 11:3, "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"

Isaiah 42:22, "But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore." This Ministry is dedicated to the restoration of the true foundation of Christian doctrine, that was destroyed by the falling away. And for the search of like minded believers.

Ephesians 2:20, "And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone." The true foundation of Christian doctrine is of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ is the main support. The foundation of the true Church of Chirst is found in: Hebrews 6:1-2, "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith towards God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment."

2 Timothy 2:19, "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his..." If we are the true church, we must have the true doctrine or foundation.

INTRODUCTION

Psalms 11:3, "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"

Ephesians 2:19-22, "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. " The New Testament foundation is made up of the teachings of the apostles and prophets which Jesus Christ himself taught or the doctrine of Jesus Christ. But the true foundation, which is the basis of the doctrine of Christ, has been destroyed. How did the destruction of the foundation happen?

2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first... " Paul wrote this prophecy to the church telling them that before the Lord Jesus would come back to take his church away there would be a falling away, a doctrinal falling away from the true gospel of Jesus Christ. These warnings are throughout the New Testament. Acts 20:29-31, "For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears." The apostle is warning the church, after he would leave, elders of the church would turn disciples unto their own selves, calling them wolves, as wolves in sheep's clothing. Changing the pure true doctrine of Christ into doctrines of men. Jude 1:3-4, "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For their are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ." These men were before ordained to be corrupt men, ungodly men, preaching some other doctrines, and tearing down the pure doctrinal foundation of Jesus Christ.
