If you continue in sin and you cannot stop, that’s because it is written in your heart to do so and God does not own you. When God owns you, it’s His work to expose what’s in your heart and do a work to purge out the sin and create in you a clean heart. If God owns you, He writes His ways in you, on the tables of your heart, precept upon precept, line upon line. And He will bring forth fruit. Because if He owns you, you will bear fruit.
