Subjected In Hope

The world is full of vanities, both the righteous and the wicked are subjected to vanity and this is part of God's great purpose.  The world is also filled with evil: diseases, deformities, debilitations, and evil works: murders, kidnappings, rapes, calumny, these also serve the same great purpose.  This is a Church that preaches God in His fullness, beyond the struggles that each of us must face, and will constantly face; God is working a great work in the world and in us.  We need to look beyond the self-centered walk and consider the deeper things of god; how we may serve God's purpose in our generation, in vanity and in bondage, as countless other generations have.  And in this subjection to God's will, we find true hope, because all this suffering and evil is for a purpose, and God has made us a part of it, that we may conform to an image, in the meekness of wisdom, the image of His only begotten Son.
